The Bure Valley Railway is a 15" guage railway built in 1990 and mainly operated by steam locomotives. It runs foir 9 miles between Aylsham & Wroxham, with stations at Brampton, Buxton & Coltishall.
Aylsham station has the Locomotive sheds and workshop, which is in action most of time, which you can see as you wander around.
The BVRW also operates a boat train!!
Journey by train from Aylsham through picturesque countryside to Wroxham, where Broads Tours will have a boat waiting for you just a short stroll from the station.
Spend approximately 1.5 hours afloat on the Broads, then explore the shops and village of Wroxham before catching the train back to Aylsham.
