VISIT TO OTTERNDORF in May 2002
We have had an encouraging response to the way we intend
to organise our next Association visit to Otterndorf. We have limited it to
a maximum of six nights with our hosts, we are visiting in the summer, we
have reduced the amount of coach travel to get there, we shall arrive at a
reasonable time in the evening, and we have given members a choice of travel
arrangements.
All these are in response to members wishes expressed in the preference survey
we did last year and from subsequent comments.
We shall include booking forms with futher details in the November newsletter
so that members attending the AGM will have an opportunity to pay their £40.00
deposits with their subs for 2001/2

UPDATE ASSOCIATION VISIT TO OTTERNDORF MAY 2002 There is good news and not so good news about our
trip next May. The not so good news is that there are no longer any
direct flights from Stansted to Hamburg (they are now via Cologne).
The good news is that the arrival port in Germany has been changed
to Cuxhaven instead of Hamburg. As a result we shall now offer only
ferry transport. |
